Up to 50% Tuition Assistance for PrISM Oregon Courses

A new consortium of public and private Oregon universities is pleased to offer the Preparation for Instruction of Science and Math (PrISM) program, which is designed to build the capacity of Oregon's teachers in math and science instruction. The program is primarily intended for K-8 teachers but also includes courses of interest to high school teachers. PrISM is a highly accessible professional development opportunity using a mixture of online, hybrid, field-based, and intensive weekend and summer courses. Learn more, fill out an application, or check out the January 2009 courses at http://prismoregon.org.

Prism offers tuition assistance to teachers from high-need schools in Oregon. A list of eligible schools is available here. Tutiton assistance applications are available on the PrISM website. GEAR UP schools not included in the list can obtain tuition assitance through GEAR UP. Email Kristin Strommer for more information about the GEAR UP tuition assistance opportunity.
