U.S. Department of Education's "i3" Grant Competition
On October 6, 2009, Secretary of Education Arne Duncan announced the Investing in Innovation (i3) Grants. These competitive grants are part of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) that was signed into law this past February. The Department will fund projects that are focused on eliminating the achievement gap in schools and improving educational outcomes for our nation’s students. Applications for the Investing in Innovation grants will open in spring of 2010.
